One of my favorite things to do is to travel. For me traveling not only opens new doors of knowledge and discoveries while meeting new people and learning their culture, it also gives one a new perspective in life. It is literally "the escape" to one's daily routine, especially for a regular working class who clock in a regular 8-5 office work.
In one of my old blogs, my last post was my Lakbayan Grade. I thought of updating it, since I have been to more places, and thought it best to post it here instead of bringing back that old blog (Yep, too many memories).
So here’s the map of my travels within the country:
My Lakbayan grade is C+!
How much of the Philippines have you visited? Find out at Lakbayan!Created by Eugene Villar.
Someday, I would travel to more countries and update this map:
I've also been looking for a free world map generator which I can pin the cities that I have traveled outside the country (not much yet, but I’ll work on that later). The usual maps I see online only have a per country option and tagging Australia would change the color of the whole country. But, I have only been to Sydney as a stop-over and it doesn’t give justice to have the whole country tagged. I read you can do this using google maps but I’m aiming for something like a worldwide lakbayan version.
This is the best that I have seen so far, but if anyone knows a better map, please feel free to comment below.
Cheers to a new year and new adventures ahead!
